HDFC Life invites creative, bold and fresh ideas to design a loyalty programme for its customers. 

Life Insurance companies typically offer products and services to customers that can appear undifferentiated. We want to create a loyal customer base that favors HDFC life product offerings over other life insurance products sold in the industry. Offer propositions & experiences which are unique, memorable and further enhance the value  of the life insurance offerings.

However, there are regulatory guidelines which restrict life insurance companies from designing loyalty programmes - cash back, reward points on purchasing policies, free advisory services or offering policies at discounted rates are prohibited. So, please ensure your ideas follow those guidelines, to be eligible for a prize.

Ideas & solutions should be detailed – giving direction in how the brand could bring the idea to life , launch plan, promotion strategy and impact it could have on the customer ecosystem.

Ideas & solutions are invited from professionals, students, product companies, agencies and creative teams. 

The winning and breakthrough ideators would be invited for a presentation and interaction with the HDFC Life team.

For every valid response received, HDFC Life would contribute a meal for a child through the Akshay Patra Foundation.

Prize Details:

Three Travel vouchers of Rs.10,000 each for the 3 lucky winners, proposing the freshest and most innovative ideas for a loyalty programme. 

Selected responses from agencies & solution providers will get an opportunity to present to the HDFC Life team in building the customer loyalty programme.

For every valid response received, HDFC Life would contribute a meal for a child through the Akshay Patra Foundation.

Terms & Conditions:

Response submitted by the Participant/s will be evaluated by the jury panel appointed by Ideaearth.

The Jury's decision on the selection of winner(s) will be final and binding on all the Participant/s.

No correspondence, clarification, explanation in this regard will be entertained by Ideaearth.

Any person or participant carrying out any correspondence or clarification or tweeting or posting any negative comments about the decision of the Jury shall be liable to Ideaearth.

The Participants can post a maximum of 3 entries each, shall not use multiple IDs to participate in the same challenge. Any single participant found using or participating through multiple IDs in the challenge may be disqualified and shall not be entitled to win any prizes .

The jury panel has the sole discretion in the interpretation and enforcement of the Challenge rules, including but not limited to selection of winner, disqualification of winner and suspension of response(s) or Participants.

Ideaearth reserves the right to modify, add or delete any of the terms and conditions or participation mechanics of the Challenge at any point of time at its sole discretion without serving any prior intimation to the Participants.

Intimation of any change, modification, addition, deletion in the terms and condition of the Challenge will be served to the participation by posting the revised terms and condition of the Challenge on Ideaearth portal/social platforms.

The winner shall assign the right to use the entries, in any media for brand, products, business or any other objective by Ideaearth, as deemed appropriate by them.

Winner shall also assign the right to display the entries on any medium (Online, TV etc.) or vehicle as may be required by Ideaearth.

Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

Ideaeaerth reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Challenge with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud).

The decision of Ideaearth in all matters under its control is final and binding. 


Each winner of the Challenge will be entitled to win the mentioned gratification based on the selection of the Jury only.

Any Participant taking part in the Challenge and declared the winner of the Challenge by Ideaearth and is unable to fulfill any one or more requirements, as specified in abovementioned clauses of these Terms and Conditions, on the date of closure of Challenge, shall be disqualified from receiving any Challenge Prize under this Challenge.


By entering the competition, the participants & attendees permit themselves to be photographed/ recorded by electronic, online and print media for telecast, publications & contacted by their given email ids and other display usage of the Ideaearth or its consultant.

Ideaearth or its consultant may also collect any information, photograph, video clip etc. from the participant for publication or sharing for the promotional requirement of Ideaearth or its consultant.


 If for any reason the Challenge is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Challenge, Ideaearth reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Challenge.

Ideaearth further reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant who tampers with the submission process or any other part of the Challenge or Challenge Site.


Participants agree that personal data submitted with an entry, including name, mailing address, phone number, and email address may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used by Ideaearth, its affiliates and the consultants for the purposes of conducting and administering the Challenge.

By entering the Challenge, Participants agree to the transmission, processing, disclosing and storage of this personal data by Ideaearth, its affiliates and the consultants. 

Ideaearth and sponsors shall not be responsible for any loss or damages suffered by the winners while availing the offer. 


Entries protected under intellectual property rights or which are progressing towards such protection, are acceptable as submissions to the Challenge.

However, the Organizer shall not be held liable for the protection of any proprietary or confidential information contained in entry form.

Participant’s personal information submitted at the time of entry form / registration for the Challenge will be on gathered on Organizer’s global and secure systems.

The participant warrants and represents that it owns all rights, or has all necessary licenses, to use any and all Idea/s (and all constituent parts) they will be submitting under this Challenge for judging, including without limitation all content, images, text, or other copyright material, trademarks, service marks, logos or any other intellectual property contained within its Idea, and can, upon request, provide written confirmation of such ownership or license to the Organizers.

The participant further warrants and represents that all Idea/s are original and have been legally obtained and created, and do not infringe the intellectual property rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party.

The response to this Challenge must be original and confirm to decency guidelines.

Any response deemed to contain content that depicts violence, immoral, unethical, illegal, anti-social, racial, political, anti-religious, sexual or any other inflammatory, defamatory or objectionable material will be disqualified and removed from the concerned URL .

Ideaearth reserves the right to initiate legal action against such Participants. Interpretation of what is, and is not, appropriate material is at the sole discretion of Ideaearth.

The participant grants to Organizers and its affiliates, the right and permission to reproduce, encode, store, copy, transmit, publish, broadcast, display, publicly perform, exhibit and/or otherwise use or reuse (without limitation as to when or to the number of times used), the participant’s name, address, image, voice, likeness, statements, biographical material and Idea/s (in each case, as submitted or as edited by Organizer, in Organizer’s sole discretion), as well as any additional photographic images, video images, portraits, interviews or other materials relating to the participant and arising out of his/her participation in this Challenge (with or without using the participant’s name) (collectively, the "additional materials") in any media( including social media) throughout the world for advertising and publicity purposes without additional review, compensation, or approval.

The Rules are to be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

All disputes relating to or arising out of the Challenge shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction at Mumbai, India.
